Having marriage troubles, Lopez and Affleck picked different coast to reflect and are now eager to reconnect and save their relationship. However, for Prince Harry and Markle — it is a very different situation.
Markle is in New York to meet and mingle with influential and successful businesswomen. The Duchess of Sussex is in The Big Apple with a clear goal to learn as much as possible and launch her struggling American Riviera Orchard brand with a bang.
The former actress wants to network and find the right staff for her brand. At the moment, Markle only has success and building an empire in her mind.
Page Six revealed: “Meghan Markle joined a host of high-powered women at a summit in the Hamptons. The Duchess of Sussex attended the G9 Ventures Summer Summit hosted by power broker Amy Griffin. The line-up of guests expected at the event included another Markle BFF, designer Misha Nonoo, and make-up icon Bobbi Brown. Weight Watchers CEO Sima Sistani was on the guest list. Lady Goop herself, Gwyneth Paltrow, was believed to be there, alongside A-lister Reese Witherspoon, who heads up the billion-dollar brand Hello Sunshine, and Spanx founder Sara Blakely.”
Prince Harry is still the same man who arrived in California five years ago. The former soldier is still angry, disappointed, and hurt by King Charles III, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Queen Camilla.
He is still participating in interviews in which he laments his past traumas, and he is still spending millions on court battles against the British government’s unwillingness to let him pay for security.
Prince Harry is basically the exact same man, with the same problems, and his dreams have not evolved one bit.
The Duke of Sussex‘s goal is to return to the UK this summer, around his birthday, so that he can repair the broken relationships he has with his family.
Speaking to Closer magazine, a source explained that because King Charles and Kate Middleton are both battling cancer and Princess Anne recently suffered a terrible fall — Prince Harry is eager to fly to the UK to be with them. But he will be on the plane without Markle.
The insider said: “Harry is very anxious to go home and see his dad, catch up with his friends for his birthday in September, and visit his aunt, Princess Anne. But that situation hasn’t changed for Meghan.”
While Markle respects Prince Harry’s need to return home, she has decided not to accompany him. The source added: “She respects Harry’s need to return home for practical and emotional reasons, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to go with him.”
Some see this decision to drift apart, even temporarily, as a dangerous option for the marriage.
