When Kate Middleton joined the Royal Family — all eyes were on her.

As it turned out, Princess Kate was not only being watched by the media, but Prince William‘s late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, was also monitoring the situation.

Queen Elizabeth decided to be discreet and keep a watchful eye from a distance.

The late Monarch‘s decision to monitor was not just a royal duty. It was personal, driven by her own experiences and a desire to prevent further heartbreak in the Royal Family.

While The Queen fought to keep her marriage together through ups and downs, King Charles III, Princess Anne, and Prince Andrew had all gone through public and nasty divorces.

In a subtle manner, Queen Elizabeth clarified to Middleton that a fair marriage in the Royal Family had consequences they could not imagine.

Kate Middleton understood early on that Queen Elizabeth’s perspective was the best option.

Middleton was to be still, push through the struggles that come with the institution, the media, and critics, and have a happy marriage and family.

In his new book, Catherine, The Princess Of Wales, royal author Robert Jobson revealed via The Daily Mail: “The Queen knew, too, that if this marriage failed, there’d be far more at stake than a broken heart. Since the early days of William’s romance with Kate, Queen Elizabeth had monitored it from a discreet distance.”

According to the royal expert, Queen Elizabeth was thrilled by how Middleton handled married life and avoided all scandals.

He wrote: “She didn’t interfere, but she was privately delighted by his choice. For understandable reasons, Her Majesty particularly liked the lack of drama that came with Catherine.”

According to the newly published book, Catherine, Princess of Wales, took the words to heart and has been swimming in marital bliss and happily raising her three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

The author went on to reveal: “With William, Catherine also enjoys playing competitive games of tennis or lolling on the sofa and watching box sets — including Homeland and Game Of Thrones — when ‘the kiddies are in bed’. They like their low-key lifestyle at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor and remain very much in love.”

Princess Kate, who is battling cancer, is still Prince William’s rock, and she fights to be present for the century-old institution.

The mother of three holds a unique place in the British monarchy, and supporters of the Royal Family appreciate her hard work.
