Prince William is invested in Prince Harry‘s activities for multiple reasons.
The heir to the throne is forced to keep a watchful eye and ear because no one knows when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might pop up in an interview or unveil a project that will humiliate the Royal Family.
Prince Harry and Markle made names for themselves and amassed a fortune by exposing King Charles III, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
Because of the immense pain Prince Harry has caused the Royal Family, Prince William has decided that he will not deserve any benefit or privilege tied to the mnarchy he has lamented on for the past five years.
According to multiple reports, Prince Harry is set for a hefty payday next month thanks to one of the rare family members he has not yet bashed — his great-grandmother, the Queen Mother.
The Duke of Sussex is set to inherit £ 7 million, or almost $9 million, from a trust established by the Queen Mother.
Prince Harry will receive the sum on his 40th birthday on September 15. Prince William received far less money from his great-grandmother because, as the heir to the throne, he gets an impressive salary from the Duchy of Cornwall’s wealth.
The report has frustrated Prince William because he is baffled as to why Prince Harry is entitled to the money when he is no longer a working royal and has taken extraordinary measures to distance himself from the monarchy.
A source told Closer: “William‘s pretty disgusted that once again Harry’s going to be cashing out and taking millions back to his Montecito home without lifting a finger for it.”
The insider added: “There’s nothing he can do about it aside from shaking his head, but Harry would not be getting this payday if it were up to him. William doesn’t think his brother is in any position to get this handout, and he’s letting it be known that he thinks it’s a pretty rotten situation. William and Kate don’t trust Harry or Meghan one bit, so the idea that Harry’s now cashing in on his great-granny’s inheritance leaves a very bitter taste in their mouths.”
For multiple reasons, many believe Prince Harry will not get a big check on his special day. Prince and Meghan Markle are still looking for a solid path to financial freedom four years after resigning from their posts as working members of the Royal Family.
