Ben Affleck and his estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez, have reunited, and it feels so good.
Less than a month after Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, the unexpected happened — they reunited. On Saturday, the power couple was seen having lunch with their children.
Lopez and Affleck were joined by Seraphina Affleck, 15, Samuel Affleck, 12, and her 16-year-old twins Max and Emme Muñiz at a fancy eatery in Beverly Hills, California.
Pictures showed the couple arriving together and gazing at each other as they entered the restaurant.
Lopez hinted that all is well again with her husband by wearing her massive engagement ring.
A source from the restaurant told Page Six that reconciliation was definitely in the air.
Lopez and Affleck sat at a table for an intimate meal, and the four children had a separate table.
The actress, singer, and the Oscar winner held hands and kissed throughout the meal.
The person in the know said: “Ben and JLo are currently at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel holding hands and kissing. The kids are with them but at a separate table.”
As if to make a statement, Affleck and Lopez were photographed in the exact vehicle after the lunch, making their reunion a public affair.
They appeared to have a passionate conversation after the family gathering. It is believed that after months of quarreling over their schedules, lifestyles, and inability to find the perfect home, Affleck and Lopez have come to a detente.
They were engaged 20 years ago and did not make it down the aisle. They reconciled and had several lavish wedding ceremonies, only to part ways on their second wedding anniversary.
The breakup was brutal, and Affleck wanted to change the narrative. Therefore, he orchestrated a public reunion, asking Lopez to join him at a famous restaurant and have their pictures taken by the paparazzi.
Affleck just wanted to show the world they were friendly exes, but when they were face to face, he was surprised to discover that he was still in love and obsessed with Lopez.
A source confirmed to Page Six that Affleck cannot keep his hands away from the singer. The insider added: “They have always had a lot of sexual chemistry. That was not planned. They are still attracted to one another.”
The source also claimed: “It was Ben Affleck’s idea to meet there. He wanted to show that they are friendly exes. He wanted those photos. You go there when you want to be seen. Paparazzi hang out there.”
While Affleck had a change of heart after the steamy moment, sources close to Lopez confirmed that she is still progressing with the divorce proceedings.
