Now, in a move signaling her wish for the focus to be on her work, not her wardrobe, Kensington Palace will no longer release details of her outfits.”
The Times noted: “Buckingham Palace routinely issues details of the Queen’s outfits for all her public engagements.”
Very loudly, Middleton is saying enough with the inquiries about her fashion choices, makeup, hair, and accessories — enough with the exposé about her style and appearance.
The statement acknowledged that many royalists enjoy the history and finer details of her fashion statements, but she has decided to close this glamorous chapter with a heavy heart.
The Palace stated via The Times: “There is an absolute feeling that it [the public work] is not about what the princess is wearing. She wants the focus to be on the really important issues, the people, and the causes she is spotlighting. There will always be an appreciation of what the princess is wearing from some of the public, and she gets that. But do we need to be officially always saying what she is wearing? No. The style is there, but it’s about the substance.”
The statement implies that Middleton is now fully dedicated to her work for the monarchy, including representing King Charles III and expanding her early childhood program.
Middleton wants to define her legacy. The mother of three hopes to have a long-lasting and positive impact on relaunching small businesses.
She wants to support and assist communities in need. After her recent health ordeals, she will continue to travel across the UK and, eventually, the rest of the world, visiting hospitals to meet with patients and their families to uplift their spirits.
