Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, rapidly fled the United States after the Super Bowl loss.
PEOPLE Magazine and Page Six confirmed the pair traveled to an unknown secluded destination for a much-needed private break and downtime to recuperate and reconnect.
The quiet getaway comes after Taylor Swift’s lengthy Eras tour. Swift’s dedication to her music took her on a world tour for close to two years, performing almost nonstop in 51 cities across 21 countries.
Similarly, Kelce’s intense work during the football season earned him the opportunity to compete in the Super Bowl.
The past few months have become more complicated for the pair because of President Donald Trump, who found time during a presidential election and while leading the free world to attack Taylor Swift.
As it turns out, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce had even more significant issues leading up to the Super Bowl.
In an interview on the NFL podcast The Insiders, Brett Veach, the General Manager of the Kansas City Chiefs, revealed that Travis Kelce had been secretly dealing with some gruesome health issues.
Veach claimed Kelce did not reveal his health burdens to the public because he did not want to alarm anyone.
Kelce wanted everyone to put all their energy into winning the title. The manager pointed out that Kelce’s fragile health was not the reason for his poor performance.
The New York Post revealed: “Noting that he wasn’t “making excuses” for the Chiefs’ loss, Veach said that Kelce was “battling a pretty big illness” before the Super Bowl. He then quipped that Kelce’s illness didn’t make much difference to the score as the Eagles — who won 40-22 — played so well. “We didn’t have the end to our season that we hoped for,” he added. Regarding the loss, Veach admitted that the Chiefs had “picked a bad day to have a bad day.” But he said that the team would use the experience as “motivation to get better.”
Veach added that Kelce is not retiring. He said: “You learn more from your losses than your wins. I think so. We anticipate Travis being back. We’re excited to have Travis back.”
According to sources, Swift has been a constant pillar of support for Kelce, standing by him through every step of his challenging journey.
The famous faces are reportedly thinking about getting married and starting a family together. Despite what critics say, the relationship seems to be going well.
