Since Donald Trump reclaimed the White House, alarm bells have been sounding off, with many questioning some of his decisions because they appear out of character- even by his standards.
This week, King Charles III confirmed that the UK would gain some influence over the United States again. To the utter shock and disbelief of many Americans, President Trump has decided to follow His Majesty gleefully.
The Daily Mail shared an interesting piece about King Charles’s no longer secret plans to offer the United States the opportunity to become a member of the Commonwealth, which includes Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
This move could significantly alter the geopolitical landscape, strengthening the UK’s global influence and reshaping US foreign policy.
According to the recently leaked plans, The King is moving to solidify the relationship between the UK and the US.
The media outlet also revealed that during Trump’s first term in office, King Charles and the late Queen Elizabeth II made the same offer to have the US become the 57th member of the Commonwealth, but for an unknown reason, the plan did not come to fruition.
A high-ranking royal source revealed to The Daily Mail: “This is being discussed at the highest levels,’ a member claimed this week, telling me: It would be a wonderful move that would symbolize Britain’s close relationship with the US. Donald Trump loves Britain and has great respect for the Royal Family, so we believe he would see the benefits of this. Associate membership could, hopefully, be followed by full membership, making the Commonwealth even more important as a global organization.”
The source added: “The Commonwealth is also a great forum for resolving differences between nations, and the King has shown that he is a natural peacemaker.”
Taking to social media, unsolicited and unprompted, Trump expressed his opinion on the King’s plot for the Commonwealth expansion.
Donald Trump, who recently declared that King Charles was a “beautiful man, a wonderful man,” wrote on his Truth Social platform while sharing an article about the matter: “I Love King Charles. Sounds good to me!”
The idea has become a hot topic, with many American citizens now touting the elected President Trump as a massive sell-out and a leader without a spine or a backbone. Americans quickly reminded Trump that the United States fought and won for the nation’s independence in 1776, sparking a wave of intense backlash.
Many asked the simple question — why is Trump dragging the United States back to the British?
The American public was also quick to remind him that they put him in the White House office and could remove that privilege if he continued to act on his humiliating follies of grandeur instead of the nation’s interests.
On the other hand, the British people applauded their King for a spectacular coup in which he seemed to be leading Trump by the nose, fostering a profound sense of national pride and unity.
He is taking charge while protecting Canada, a country Trump has threatened to annex, forgetting that the King is head of state.
What a joke! Time for Canada to unload this unelected “head of state” and move on from fealty to a medieval imperialist concept of government. Did it ever occur to Chuck that the members of the Commonwealth may not want to have a fascist state invited to join their ranks?
