Sources close to Prince Harry and Markle have confirmed to the New York Times that they are serious about repairing their relationships with King Charles III, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
However, there is a profound and disturbingly cynical reason for Markle accomplishing that mission.
According to an insider, Markle believes halting media hostilities with her estranged Royal Family will win her the ultimate public approval and acceptance prize. She hopes to be seen as the savior and the bigger person in the room.
The source, who has close ties to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, stated that they are desperate to “trigger a truce” with the royals.
The royal source told the New York Times: “Meghan‘s desperate to come across as the bigger person and end this feud between them — appearing like some sort of royal savior could only do her image good.”
With Princess Kate‘s return to work after her chemotherapy, the media’s attention is expected to shift, potentially reducing scrutiny of the Sussexes’ public displays and interactions.
Mr. and Mrs. Sussex believe that if they generate fewer negative headlines, the royals might give them a second look and the opportunity to make their case for reconciliation.
The insider shared Prince Harry and Markle’s strategy, which some might find bizarre and somewhat concerning, to reenter the royals’ hearts by saying: “Their hope is that (Princess Kate’s return to work) might take some of the heat off them and possibly trigger a truce with her, William, and the King, too.”
Many find that Meghan Markle is stepping on her message about repairing the damage she caused to the Royal Family because of her ego and desire to be admired for her noble qualities as a good human or savior.
It is not like Meghan Markle ever stood a chance to contact Kate Middleton to begin the process of forgiveness and reconnecting. Prince William is ensuring Markle remains thousands of miles from his wife.
After the brutal year for the future King and Queen of England, close friends of Prince William told the Daily Beast he does not want Markle to mention his spouse’s name.
Additionally, Prince William wants Meghan Markle to know that he and Princess Kate are safe and happy and do not need a savior to rescue or help them.
