Taylor Swift Delivers An October Surprise
Taylor Swift is about to make the loudest and most public move yet in her ongoing feud with former best friend Blake Lively.
This month, Taylor has embraced love and peace as she enjoys her engagement to fiancé and NFL player Travis Kelce.
However, in a matter of weeks, Swift will be bold, loud, and confrontational as she prepares to release her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, on October 3rd.
The Devolution Of A Hollywood Friendship
Taylor Swift will use her pen, her voice, and musical notes to deal with her critics and those who have hurt her. Media speculation puts her former best friend, Blake Lively, at the top of that list.
For over a decade, their friendship was among the strongest in Hollywood. Not only is Swift godmother to all three of Lively and Ryan Reynolds‘s children, but Lively also consistently supported Swift during major scandals, including those with Kanye West, Donald Trump, and Scooter Braun.
Lively was also a confidant as Swift faced heartbreak with commitment-phobic ex-boyfriends.
The Legal Drama That Halted Their Friendship
But over the past year, their friendship turned into legal and personal conflict.
Reports from PEOPLE and The Daily Mail confirmed that the fallout began after Blake Lively sued her It Ends With Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni.
This ignited legal drama: Baldoni’s team subpoenaed Swift to testify, leaked personal and humiliating messages, and accused her of joining Lively in a meeting to intimidate him.
Swift’s representative called the subpoena a publicity stunt, but the rift has only deepened. Insiders now confirm Swift openly addresses this betrayal on her upcoming album.
The Music Speaks For Itself
An insider told The Daily Mail the following about Swift’s October surprise for her former pal: “Taylor’s fans have always believed she would deal with this in her music, and now she is. Blake is going to be mentioned in a way that shows Taylor’s anger and disappointment over the entire situation.”
Another insider claimed: “Taylor is in a good space right now, but there was an awareness that she couldn’t ignore all the drama.”
“There are Easter eggs [in the new album] about how she overcame the drama with Blake. And she does in her own way address people who believed her relationship with Travis was a PR stunt.”
The music insider also revealed that Donald Trump’s past nasty tirades against Swift have led to some interesting musical notes.
The person stated: “The new album isn’t a political record, but Taylor was motivated by the excitement around Kamala Harris last year, which is when she recorded some of the songs.”Taylor has a point to prove and is ready to silence people who said her career has ‘broken’ because she went ‘woke.'”
PEOPLE magazine confirmed that Swift and Lively are not speaking. After the album’s October release, they will have even less to say to each other.

Wow. How much did Ryan Reynolds pay for you guys to write this article. Or did he write it himself.
