Prince Harry explained that despite the pain and headaches he has caused the Royal Family with his bestselling book, Spare, and the numerous interviews — including the Oprah Winfrey interview and the Netflix TV series — he is not backing down. He does not feel sorry about what he said. In his interview with The Guardian, he stated: “I have no regrets,” and that his “conscience is clear.”
He added, “I don’t believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public. It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible.”
He made it clear that he had no desire to apologize, as these were his truths and he had chosen to share them. From then on, the Royal Family must accept and live with all that he had to say. In the interview, he also briefly mentioned King Charles’s health situation, saying, “The focus really has to be on my dad.” He did this despite the royal family, King Charles included, having chosen not to talk about his health, yet Prince Harry still discussed his father’s cancer diagnosis.

Many believe that Prince Harry’s actions may support Prince William’s previous concerns about trust. Whatever he knows, he has shown a willingness to speak to the media. Even though he is not getting paid, it seems he is inclined to share information, which could have consequences for his family.
As a result, it may become difficult for King Charles to justify meeting with him again, and Prince William and Kate Middleton may be less likely to change their minds or repair their relationship with him. The main consequences are the ongoing breakdown in trust, the increasing likelihood of being excluded from Royal Family matters, and the impact on future reconciliation possibilities.
