King Charles III once reportedly asked, “How on God’s grace do you fire your own brother?” It appears he has finally settled on an answer.

The King is no longer willing to forgive or accept his disgraced brother, Prince Andrew, and the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, into the royal vicinity following a series of damaging scandals.

King Charles has finally decided it is time to bring down the hammer.

Exclusion From the Royal Christmas

According to royal aides, His Majesty has made the definitive move that the Duke and Duchess of York will not be invited to the Royal Family’s traditional Christmas at Sandringham this year.

The family’s customary Christmas gathering, which includes feasting, exchanging gifts, and their walk to church on Christmas morning, will proceed without them.

King Charles can no longer tolerate the presence of his brother and former sister-in-law, given their many disgraceful and unsettling actions.

The King was forced to make this decision following the publication of emails confirming that the Duchess of York had sent a lengthy apology to the late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.

A source close to King Charles told the Times: “You can’t sack someone from being your brother. But this year, if the duke and duchess were both to be as honourable [as last year], it would be very much for the best and the family would not be disappointed, not least to avoid the King having to make any more difficult decisions.”

Fallout From The Epstein Email

In 2011, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, did an emotional and lengthy apology with The Evening Standard, where she apologised for accepting £15,000 ($20,000)from a sex offender.

During the interview, the duchess boldly stated: “I abhor paedophilia and any sexual abuse of children and know that this was a gigantic error of judgment on my behalf. I am just so contrite I cannot say. Whenever I can, I will repay the money and have nothing ever to do with Jeffrey Epstein ever again.”

A little over a month later, the following stunning message to Epstein, in which she said: “I know you feel hellaciously let down by me. And I must humbly apologise to you and your heart for that. You have always been a steadfast, generous, and supreme friend to me and my family.”

After the emails were released to the public, Sarah, Duchess of York (often referred to as “Fergie“), was immediately dropped from several high-profile roles and patronages, including her position as patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust, as well as other charities.

These organizations stated they could no longer be associated with her. She also lost deals for publishing children’s books and appearances on shows, with the Royal Heads of these organizations commenting that her decision to apologize to Epstein was a poor reflection on their brands.

The King was already contemplating excluding his brother from the Christmas gathering after it was revealed that Prince Andrew had a close relationship with an alleged Chinese spy, Yang Tengbo. This information simply added another layer to the reputational damage the King felt he needed to address.

A Decision For Public Optics

The decision is now final. It is not yet known if the Yorks’ daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, will still be invited to the Christmas celebrations. However, one thing is certain: King Charles cannot have Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson at the family gathering, especially knowing that the media will be closely watching to see if he is appearing alongside his disgraced brother and former sister-in-law.

The decision has broken the Duchess’s heart, with a close source saying she is feeling “devastated for any embarrassment” she has caused the Royal Family by once more associating them with the disgraced paedophile.
