Are Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton over? It all depends on whom you ask.
A source spoke to Life & Style on Wednesday and revealed that The Voice‘s coaches had ended their year-and-a-half romance.
The person told the publication that Stefani and Shelton have decided to go their separate ways because for the past few months they have been unsuccessfully trying to have a baby.
The baby debacle left Stefani feeling angry and frustrated that the man she loves can not give her the baby girl she has been longing for.
The same insider said Stefani has been furious at the country music star who has refused to leave Oklahoma and move permanently to Los Angeles with her and her three boys. While Stefani enjoys vacationing in Oklahoma, she is not ready to uproot her kids from California.
The source said: “[They’ve] been on the fast track to marriage and babies, but all talk of getting married or having a baby has stopped. They just live two completely different lifestyles and now it’s humiliating for Gwen to admit the relationship is done.”
The tipster went on to reveal: “She had really banked on Blake giving her the family he always wanted. She says Blake didn’t do anything wrong. The love just faded. Gwen loves Blake because he is hilarious, charming, humble and all-around great guy.”
Stefani is apparently the one who called off the relationship because they grew apart.
The source went on to reveal: “They came into each other’s lives during challenging times as they were both going through breakups.”
A different source spoke to another publication and said something entirely different. Shelton’s split from Miranda Lambert, 33, and Stefani’s divorce from Gavin Rossdale, 51, have a created a strong bond between them.
The person claimed the lovers are closer than ever and added: “It was those difficult times that created and incredible bond between the two stars.”
The pair is still hoping to get married later this year.
