Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are battling yet another divorce rumor.
This week, an insider sat down with In Touch Weekly and revealed that the split is imminent.
According to the person, DeGeneres and De Rossi have not been happy for many years.
The duo has been through various forms of therapy in a bid to save their romance, but they have not succeeded.
The source said de Rossi is often left to spend lonely nights as a workaholic DeGeneres marches on with her media empire.
The Australian star has reached her breaking point and has asked for a separation.
The quote in the magazine read: “It is happening. She and Portia are breaking up. Portia’s ring has been off for a while now, and though she would occasionally slip it on to show Ellen she was trying, that is over now… There’s no turning back. It is just a matter of time before the whole world knows.”
This is not the first time, the ladies have been hit with such rumors.
However, according to Radar Online, this time around it is believable because the stars were seen fighting in public.
The outlet revealed that the lovers were yelling at each other while dining at Madeo restaurant in Beverly Hills.
A patron who saw the fight said: “It seemed like they were fighting. Portia kept trying to talk to Ellen, but Ellen would not even look at her as she screeched out of the parking lot.”
In past few weeks, both women have been out and about in California with friends without their wedding rings.
The same tipster told In Touch that the former Scandal actress has more less left the marital home they once shared:
