Audrina Patridge and Corey Bohan are getting a divorce less than one year after walking down the aisle.
The estranged couple started dating in 2008 and welcomed a daughter named Kirra Max in June 2016. In those eight years, they went through some dark times that were chronicled on Patridge’s reality show, Audrina, in 2011.
At the time, Patridge revealed: “It is something that was an ongoing thing that I talk about in the show. It was a long time coming. Enough is enough. You get to a point where you are just ready to move on, and you cannot take it anymore.”
The Australian bike rider and the television personality had seemed happy after they tied the knot in November 2016 which is why the news came as a real shocker. Photos posted on social media in the past few months gave the image of a happy family.
The Sorority Row actress called Bohan a “great father” in June and thanked him for being there for their family.
Things have changed drastically in recent weeks, and Patridge has filed a restraining order against Bohan based on a domestic abuse incident.

The divorce filing contains a lot of surprising information. For example, the mother of one alleges that she was harassed on several occasions by the father of her child.
The document reads: “His aggressive behavior usually escalates whenever I am paying attention to work obligations, rather than to him. When we are apart, he texts me obsessively, rattling my nerves and making it difficult for me to concentrate on my work commitments.”
It continues: “His harassing behavior has recently become so extreme that I physically separated from him a few weeks ago. I am fearful of [Bohan]’s temper because he cannot control his swearing and personal attacks on me, even when in the presence of our young daughter. Furthermore, as set forth below, his aggressiveness last month became so extreme he became physically violent.”

Supporters are surprised by the most recent developments in the estranged couple’s marriage, but they applaud Patridge for having the courage to leave a relationship that was heading in the wrong direction.
They also say that the bold move will make it possible for the child to grow up in a more positive environment where her parents are not always fighting.
Some critics also said that they saw all of this coming a long time ago and it is a pity that the stunning diva did not feel the same way before this week.
