About two months after the killing of rapper Nipsey Hussle, actress Lauren London has returned to social media to pour out her heart and remember the love of her life.
London shared a moving picture of the late rapper and activist that was taken in his native Crenshaw/Los Angeles.
Wearing a cap, white T-shirt, and his signature braids; the sunlight hits Hussle’s face like a halo. London used the caption of the post to say to the father of her son, Kross, she will never forget him.
The star of Games People Play wrote: “Never could I ever Forget. I miss you so much.”
The MC and father of two was gunned down earlier this year in the parking lot of his clothing store. Hussle, who was born Ermias Asghedom, was helping an ex-con when Eric Holder shot him several times.
Many are baffled by the loss of the businessman who was making significant moves to build up his community.
One person took to social media to pen a kind note to pay tribute to the late activist and uplift London during this challenging time in her life.
The note began: “Every day I’m sure it gets harder as FOREVER keeps reminding you, knowing there’s nothing you can do to get him back and all you can do is scream, cry and try just to breathe as you try to make your mind and HEART accept he’s gone but you can’t, everyday you wake up and reality hits all over again. ? How I wish it weren’t true and I’m a stranger so I know your MIND and HEART are at war with WHY!?!?! I hate LOVE ( Blacc Sam, Adam, Jstone, Jrock) wasn’t there that day to HELP him, and every time I hear Cow (coward).”
The super fan continued: “Boy say how he loved Nip and would’ve taken a bullet for him, my soul SCREAMS MOTHERFUCKER STOP LYING NO YOU WOULDN’T BCUZ YOU DIDN’T, LOVE SHOWS UP, LOVE SAYS LAST YOU KNEW NIP WAS OUTSIDE AND WOULD’VE DONE EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO GET TO HIM TO MAKE SURE HE WAS GOOD, LOVE WOULD’VE NEVER LEFT HIM OUT THERE BY HIMSELF FROM THE JUMP!!!?, Lauren I’m so sorry the LOVE OF YOUR LIFE has been robbed from you and NOTHING WILL EVER MAKE THAT BETTER!?”
