Mark Lamb Is The Sheriff Taking On Drug Cartels In Arizona — He Wants Politicians On Both Sides To Solve The Immigration And Border Crisis

The situation around the US-Mexico border has been tense for a long time now, and part of that is due to the constant activities of Mexican drug cartels operating in the area.

Violent incidents do not stop happening in the region, and in some places, people’s frustration has reached very high levels.

In one recent example, Sheriff Mark Lamb of Pinal County in Arizona has decided to take matters into his own hands and has been reportedly patrolling the area in a pickup truck, wearing his AR-15, ready to defend his people against the threat from across the border.

The man is reportedly even using the G.I. Joe theme song as a ringtone for his mobile phone.

Lamb has explained that the situation in his region is particularly tricky, due to the heavy presence of Native American reserves in the area.

Cartel members have discovered that being on tribal land makes them immune to U.S. jurisdiction, and have been exploiting their knowledge of the local areas to make their deliveries of various drugs and even humans.

According to Lamb, the problem is an ongoing one, and there is no easy solution in sight.

At the same time, people like him have been working hard to address the situation in whatever ways they could.

The 46-year-old Mormon told The New York Post: “We are the last line of defense in Pinal County before the drugs head to California and other parts of the country. Forty percent of all drugs coming into the U.S., come through our borders, right here.”

He continued with: “And while we’re bickering about a $5 billion border wall, the cartels are making as much on smuggling bodies as they are on drugs.”

The lawman, who is fluent in Spanish, wants politicians to solve the immigration issue once and for all.

He stated: “We’re seeing something we’ve never seen in America before. The traffickers have taken advantage of the immigration crisis to flood the country with drugs. Both sides have paralyzed the debate on immigration, and now we need to get serious. We need common sense solutions to end it.”

Lamb could spend most of the day working in front of a computer at his desk, but he has personally volunteered to perform multiple patrols every week and has been ready to jump into action at any given time.

Many commenters online have praised the sheriff for all that he is doing.
