Simone Biles‘s boyfriend, Stacey Ervin Jr., shared an empowering message on social media and some believe that it was his way of addressing the fact that her brother, Tevin Biles-Thomas, got arrested earlier this week in connection to a triple murder.
The pro-wrestler wrote: “The strongest people I’ve ever met have not been given an easier life. They’ve learned to create strength and happiness from dark places.”
His message that was posted on Instagram came after the gymnastics icon shared a photo of them together with the following caption: “Missing you a lil extra today ?.”

He replied to the note with: “I miss you too babe ? I’ll see you very soon.” The young couple has been dating for two years.
The triple homicide that happened on New Year’s Eve in Ohio finally has a suspect, as authorities have arrested none other than the brother of the Olympic gold medalist.
Biles-Thomas was arrested a couple of days ago in Georgia and has officially been charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter, felonious assault and perjury. The Cleveland police put out a statement on the matter.
The incident happened shortly before midnight on December 31 at a party that was being hosted above a pizza joint in the Brooklyn Centre section.
Several people showed up to the party without an invitation and were asked to leave, after which the shooting started, leading to the deaths of 23-year-old Devaughn Gibson, Toshaun Banks, 21, and Delvante Johnson, 19. All victims received multiple gunshots, and two of them died at the scene.

Several others were also hit but managed to survive, according to official reports. The man charged with the killings is going to be arraigned in Cleveland on Sept. 13.
Meanwhile, his sister has not provided any comments on the situation, although it is very likely that she will try to maintain her distance at this point.
However, she did post a tweet that seems to reveal some of her feelings. It read: “Eating my feelings don’t talk to me.”
Many have pointed out that she has nothing to do with the case and should be left alone, but that does not seem to have reached the ears of some of her “fans,” who have been prodding her for more information over and over again.
Others are rooting for her, though. One comment read: “Whatever someone else does is on them! Don’t be bothered by your name being dragged into things. You do you!”
A second follower added: “I know this is sensitive and irrelevant to this post, but I wanted to say I hope you are feeling ok and feeling better.”
The two siblings, who were in foster care at some point in their childhood, did not grow up together. The brother grew up in Ohio after being adopted by a great aunt. Taken by her grandfather, Biles grew up in Texas.
Their mother, Shannon Biles, dealt with addiction. The gymnast said this about her childhood: “My biological mom was suffering from drug and alcohol abuse, and she was in and out of jail. I never had a mom to run to.”
Some supporters hope this does not smear her reputation, as she has worked hard to establish her current status, and has gone through a lot in the process.
