Seth Ator Identified As Odessa Shooter — Motives Behind Texas Shooting Remain Unknown

Seth Ator Odessa Texas Shooter Revealed

Seth Ator has been identified as the suspect behind the Odessa and Midland, Texas shooting that left seven innocent people dead and more than 20 injured including three members of law enforcement.

The mass shooter’s whose full name is Seth Aaron Ator was killed by police officers as he was trying to make his way to the Cinergy movie complex in Odessa where he had plans to murder more innocent people. The motives for the Odessa shooting are still not known.

According to a press conference by members of the Odessa Police Department, the rampage began after an attempted traffic stop along Interstate 20.

The 36-year-old man started shooting at law enforcers and continued to kill people who crossed his path randomly.
Ator used an AR-style rifle to gun down the innocent victims.

Odessa Police Chief Michael Gerke explained that Ator abandoned his original vehicle and killed Mary Granados in order to hijack the United States Postal Service mail truck she was driving.

Not much is known about the mass murderer because most of his social media pages seem to have vanished.

And some people have taken to social media to ask why do authorities reveal the identities of killing suspects rapidly when they are black or Muslim, and delay the process when the mass murderer is white.

One person asked: “The black kid’s name was made pubic very fast, but now we have the name of the Texas shooter finally. Seth Aaron Ator. Look I would rather they never shared any of these peoples names, but they can’t have this double standard.”

Another commenter had this to say: “Everything about #SethAtor has been scrubbed off social media why? What are the authorities hiding about this Killer? My Life has been edited about him. What in the hell is going on with this Midland Odessa Shooting Terrorist.”

There are many speculations going around about the Odessa gunman such as he was a Jewish Democrat who supported former Congressman Beto O’Rourke or he was a registered Republican who backed President Donald Trump — none of this information has been verified at the moment.

Therefore, the public is advised to wait for the truth to come out because the investigation is fluid and ongoing. The man authorities has identified as the gunman had a few run-ins with the law.

In 2001, Ator was charged with “Criminal Trespass” in McLennan County, Texas. In 2002, he was charged with a second offense for Evading Arrest and was slapped with a sentence of 24 months on probation.

Many find it baffling that despite having a criminal trespass charge, he was able to pass a background check and acquire an AR-15.

Several videos have surfaced showing FBI agents at Ator’s house on Sunday afternoon. His parents — Debra Sue Warren and Denis Keith Ator — have not spoken to the media.

It has been confirmed that Ator once lived in Lorena and Waco and graduated from Lorena High School in 2000.
