It seems that a lot of former basketball stars, including Shaquille O’Neal, have found a way to keep themselves entertained during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has most of the planet in self-quarantine.
Many NBA celebrities have taken up dancing recently. Shaq was one of the basketball legends who took to social media to show his numerous fans how he spends his time in self-isolation.
The retired NBA star posted a video clip recently on Instagram, in which he and his boys took part in the trending TikTok dancing challenge.
In the hilarious video, Shaq, and his sons — Myles, Shareef, and Shaqir O’Neal — decided to strip while singing Gotye‘s “Somebody That I Used To Know” featuring Kimbra.
Shaq’s ex-wife and the mother of his boys, Shaunie O’Neal, had this reaction to the viral clip: “??♀️??♀️??♀️?????.”
One fan replied: “I didn’t know we needed this, but we did. He ripped that tank top like it was a post-it note.”
A second commenter added: “Shaq is the ? of Instagram right now. ?Hands down, I love your Instagram. Nothing but pure comedy. ?”
In another the footage, Shaq could be seen initiating a cute dance as he moved to the rhythm, closely followed by his two sons.
However, the 48-year-old did not forget to include a couple of his colleagues, as in the caption of his video, he also invited Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Joel Embiid, Damian Lillard, Dwayne Wade, and Dwight Howard to take part in the popular trend.
It appears that LeBron was interested in the challenge too because the Los Angeles Lakers icon also took to Instagram to share a video of him dancing.
Captioned with “Quarantined Tik Tok Chronicles! Come give me something, uh!,” LeBron showed off his dancing skills to his followers.
The NBA star appeared on an Instagram Live video for the first time on Thursday, he opened up about his personal life and how he spends his time under quarantine.
According to LeBron, he missed playing basketball, and he stated, “I miss doing what I do. I miss being in front of the Laker faithful. I miss being in front of the opposing fans when I’m on the road.”
These athletes know how to have a good time.
