Elle Macpherson has proven that age is just a number, as the 56-year-old model stunned on the cover of the May edition of Harper’s Bazaar Australia.
The supermodel, who, throughout her lengthy fashion career, was often called “The Body,” defied all expectations with the amazing cover snap.
In the photograph, Macpherson sizzled with a shining silver bodysuit from Gucci with long sleeves that put her envious long legs on display.
The look of the model was prepared by the renowned hair professional, Sophie Roberts, while Linda Jefferyes was responsible for the makeup, with photographer Darren McDonald taking care of the photo shoot.
In addition to the pictures, the model also gave a candid interview to the magazine, in which she opened up about her goals in life and what she was hoping to achieve with the “WelleCo” beauty product line that she had created.
According to Macpherson, it was really empowering for her to find purpose in her life, and before planning anything else, she wanted to be financially independent first.
Macpherson also explained that her personal purpose was to share that “the body can heal, given the right environment.”
She said: “Finding my purpose in life has been really empowering. It’s a time of life when every decision I make, I ask, “Is this helping me? Is this adding to my purpose of not? My first purpose was to be financially independent, but then after that, then what, it’s not a given. Today, my personal purpose is to share that the body can heal, given the right environment.”
It appears that the model really appreciated being on the front page of the famous magazine, as she took to Instagram to share her feelings.
Elle posted the cover photograph on the popular social media platform, and in the caption, she wrote that it was “truly an honor” for her and that it was never a more critical time to talk about wellness.
The bombshell also stated that she was optimistic about the future, and she concluded by tagging all the people who were involved in the creation of her looks.
