Stassie Karanikolaou, who is the best friend of self-proclaimed billionaire Kylie Jenner, is slowly building her own little empire online as a model.
In a new photo, that was posted on Savage X Fenty’s social media pages, the 22-year-old blonde bombshell looks sensational in yellow lace lingerie. Stassie is an ambassador for Rihanna‘s brand, and she has been making her mark in that role.
Interestingly, the stunning model had posted the same picture on her Instagram page a few weeks ago and even got some love from Travis Scott‘s baby mama at the time. One thing is certain, the quarantine lifestyle looks good on the California native who has known Kylie and her sister, Kendall Jenner, since the age of 11.
Stassie replaced Jordyn Woods as Kylie’s BFF in February 2019 after she was caught cheating with the makeup expert’s sister, Khloé Kardashian‘s baby daddy, NBA star Tristan Thompson .
After the epic scandal, Kylie started leaning more on Stassie, and their friendship grew in a major way. This development has been quite good for the model’s career because it brought her brand to a wider audience. It seems RiRi wants to capitalize on Kylie’s friend’s change of status on social media.
However, a few people are not totally supportive of this idea. One fan told the Barbadian-born pop music sensation: “I wish you would stick to more natural women doing good in the world, that’s what I love about this brand and why I choose it above others! Just my opinion.”
When questioned about her remark, the Rihanna supporter detailed her views on the matter: “I just think we all have so much of this fakery shoved down our throats in the media. I’m a levelheaded young woman and it’s still made me feel some type of way about myself at times. I want young girls and women to feel good about their natural body and not want to change it into something unrecognizable. There are even comments under this photo of women who say they wish they could “buy this body.” It saddens me. Our natural bodies are beautiful and I don’t think plastic surgery can compete.”
Another critic went in the same direction and stated: “Would love if white influencers who spent thousands of dollars to emulate black female features weren’t representative of this brand, but….. here we are.”
Some Stassie backers are still not sure that the debate about women who use plastic surgery versus “natural” ones is still worth having in 2020.
RiRi fans are probably not big on Stassie because of her friendship with Kylie, who is a rival for the “Work” singer in the beauty world, and Chris Brown‘s ex-girlfriend also dated Travis about five years ago.
Rihanna was apparently embarrassed and did not want the news to come out. The two music stars even collaborated on the song, “Bitch Better Have My Money.”
