Shaquille O’Neal Makes This Puzzling Confession About His Daughters In This Video; Will Shaunie Address It?

Shaquille O'Neal His Children Dating

Shaquille O’Neal has done quite an excellent job as a father, raising five beautiful and talented children with ex-wife Shaunie O’Neal, (Shaq also has a daughter, Taahirah, with ex-girlfriend Arnetta Yardbourgh who was not raised by Shaunie).

Two of his children with Shaunie are girls, and it looks like Shaq is very protective of his daughters, as he recently opened up a little about living with them and his plans for the future.

And according to the NBA legend, his girls — Me’arah and Amirah — will not be dating anyone until they have turned 25.

At first, it was not entirely clear if that was a joke or if Shaq was serious. However, he did imply that he was completely serious because he confirmed that none of his daughters had violated the rule so far, and he was proud of them for doing so.

It is odd that Shaq did not mention any strick rules for his sons — fans have caught one of them liking pictures of actress Zendaya and letting her know that she is beautiful. Some would say this is double standards or even sexist.

The athlete also opened up a bit about what it was like to be a father to so many children, focusing on the fact that it was very important to be a good listener from his perspective.

Shaq seems to have done a great job with his children in general, so he seems like the kind of person who would know what works best and what does not.

Of course, with a family as large as his, it is hard to tell how much of that is due to the unique chemistry that he has with his other family members.

And of course, parenting is not a one-sided ordeal, so it is reasonable to assume that Shaq should not be getting all the credit for this success.

Shaq and Shaunie’s daughter Me’arah recently celebrated a big milestone.

Shaunie penned a loving message to the teenager that read: “2020 The Year We Will Never Forget… We had to make so many adjustments on how we normally do things. We all had to shift our minds, but we found creative ways to celebrate some of the most important days of our lives. Congratulations to @amirahoneal_ on graduating high school, and now off to college! Thank you to all of our family and friends for coming out to our drive-by graduation!!!! Mommy will always be your biggest cheerleader in all you do!!! #MimiClassOf2020”
