Dad Shot Dead While Holding Hands With Daughter — Video Caught Fatal Bronx Incident

Anthony Robinson Khloe Rodney Harrison

Anthony Robinson, a 29-year-old father of two from Brooklyn, was shot dead in the Bronx on Sunday as he was crossing a street with his 6-year-old daughter, Khloe.

A video posted online by NYPD Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison captured the whole scene. It shows Robinson getting shot by someone in a car, and his child ran away as fast she could, and the car sped away.

They were walking hand in hand when a vehicle paused to let them pass. Seconds later, the person opened fire on Robinson and struck him several times. He collapsed at the intersection of East 170th Street and Sheridan Avenue.

The dad was taken to the BronxCare Health System hospital, where he died. The child was not hurt in the fatal incident.

Cousin Michael Parker told local media: “He’s loved. He’ll be remembered. He’s going to live through us.”

There is a spike in violence around the city. Eight people were killed over the same holiday weekend. At least 49 shootings were reported in the same period.

As the country faces unrest over racism and police brutality, conservatives say it is time for the people on the left to also address black-on-black crimes in places like New York and Chicago.

New York City Bill de Blasio is being blamed for the crisis. Democrats argue that President Donald Trump and his harsh rhetoric is responsible for the recent rise in crimes.

One commenter stated: “Bill de Blasio doesn’t care about black citizens. If he did, he would stop the crime in the city’s neighborhoods instead of enabling it. The Bail Reform allows criminals to flourish with little to no consequences. What person wants to live in this environment, what person should have to live in that situation? Shameful!!!”

A second critic chimed in: “This a shame @nycmayor do something to stop the violence instead of acting like a child and playing politics. You are the mayor if you can’t do your job and provide law and order, you must resign and let deputy Mayor do your job. Bail Reform was a big mistake.”

A third person added: “That’s the thing about democrat mayors they don’t have to do shit they can just blame trump and could still have good approval ratings.”

Black Lives Matter is also problematic in the situation as people on the right use cases like this one to exclaim, All Lives Matter.

No one was arrested, and the NYPD is offering up to $10,000 for information that can help solve the murder.
