Hailey Baldwin Bieber is not afraid to take fashion risks. The model and wife of singer Justin Bieber recently learned that it is hard to wear something that Rihanna already slayed.
This week, Bieber was spotted using the streets of New York as her runway while wearing a face mask, of course. Bieber opted for a casual look composed of jeans, a simple yellow crop top, and a pair of white sneakers.
She completed the look with a canary baseball cap. What got the world’s attention was the fury yet string coat that she sported to keep herself cozy and warm.
The long fluffy coat is from Bottega Veneta, and it comes with the hefty price tag of $9,450. Fans ridiculed the trailing tassel trim design that apparently looked like a mop or reminded people of the car wash.
Others said it looked like french fries, and a few claimed her husband picked the expensive yet odd-looking outwear.
One person said this about the shearling coat: “Hailey said I wanna be a mop today.”
Some supporters praised the model for taking a fashion risk and looking great while at it. This social media user had this brutal reaction: “Hailey, girl. You know I love you. But honey, what the fck is this car wash rag looking as coat doing on you?”

Rihanna wore the coat on the cover of the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, and fashionistas loved the look.
In the picture, Rihanna was playful with the floor-length coat and made it look sexy and elegant.
In a recent interview, Bieber revealed that she has an open mind when it comes to fashion.
She confessed: “I’ve never really been someone who finds an item in the men’s section and says, ‘Oh, I’m not going to buy this because it’s menswear.’ I wear a lot of men’s suiting and love mixing men’s silhouettes like big, boxy jackets and baggy pants into my style.”

She also revealed her go-to item — a leather jacket: “I don’t know the brand, but I wore it to Coachella one year, and I’ve kept it ever since. It’s just a good, solid leather jacket, very ’90s, cropped and boxy. It’s the kind of jacket I would pass on to my child.”
The 23-year-old television personality was recently spotted with a new tattoo on her ring finger in honor of her pop star hubby.
