Anna Kournikova has shared some rare photos on her Instagram account to mark her youngest child’s first birthday.
On Saturday — the first birthday of her daughter, Mary — former professional tennis player Anna Kournikova, 39, posted a photo of her daughter on a bed, wearing a cream dress and a hair bow in a similar color.
The camera was angled so that Mary was looking forward to the side for the cute snap, which gathered more than 250,000 likes over the weekend.
The picture was captioned simply with “1!” and a red love heart emoji.
Kournikova also shared a short video clip later that same day, where somebody had filmed her and her daughter as they sat on some steps looking out towards greenery and blue water.
In the video, Kournikova can be heard chatting with her daughter, who giggles and claps while making adorable baby sounds.
She captioned the second post, “Girl talk,” with sun and love heart emojis. Her partner, Enrique Iglesias, commented on the post with two heart eyes emojis.
Mary is Anna Kournikova’s third child with Enrique Iglesias, who she began dating twenty years ago. The couple also shares two 3-year-old twins — Lucy and Nicholas.
Kournikova and Iglesias split in 2008 and again in 2013 but got back together later the same year on both occasions.
The pro tennis player rarely posts to her Instagram, and it seems she reserves it for special occasions like her children’s birthdays.
Before sharing the recent posts for Mary’s birthday, Kournikova last posted on December 16 to celebrate her older children’s birthdays.
She created individual posts for both Lucy and Nicholas, sharing a photo of them smiling and captioned both with “3!” and a love heart — the same style she used for Mary’s recent birthday post.
A source recently revealed that Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have been staying in a bubble in their Florida mansion with their three young children to protect themselves from the ongoing pandemic.
A source told ET: “Since the addition of their daughter earlier this year, the focus has been on her but also giving the twins their alone time. Enrique and Anna are very private and have been protective of the twins during COVID-19 with not many people getting the chance to be around them.”
Some Russian followers of the television personality applauded her for speaking in her native language to the little child although they are living in another country.
