A new statement from Melania Trump‘s former senior advisor and close friend, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, claims that former President Donald Trump would always prefer his daughter, Ivanka Trump, to his wife.
Wolkoff, who gained prominence with her authoring the controversial book Melania and Me, recently stated that Ivanka Trump “would usurp Melania and all the traditions of the White House and didn’t care about any rules and did not care about anyone else.”
The ex-friend of Melania Trump has previously described Ivanka Trump in her book as “Donald in a suit” and claimed that “if Donald had to choose between anyone, it would be Ivanka.”
She said in an interview: “One of the reasons why I wrote in the way that I wrote it… was to highlight the way that Ivanka would usurp Melania and all the traditions of the White House and didn’t care about any rules and didn’t care about anyone else. She’s Donald in a suit. She is Donald’s one ace in the hole. And if Donald had to choose between anyone, it would be Ivanka.”
However, it appears that Wolkoff’s claims were not appreciated by the former first lady, who referred to her former aide’s statements as “delusional” and “malicious gossip.”
During an appearance on Good Morning America, Wolkoff asserted that Melania was her close friend for a long time, but she has changed dramatically in recent years.
Wolkoff explained that in the past, Melania Trump was irked by Trump’s “grab them by the pu*sy” remark and initially reacted to it with “The words my husband used are unacceptable and offensive to me.”
However, at some point, Wolkoff asked the former model again about the president’s controversial comment, and this time Melania Trump simply stated, “he is who he is.”
Melania Trump allegedly told her former White House aide: “I told him that if he ran for president, he had to be ready for everything to be opened up and exposed. His whole life.”
Meanwhile, it was reported that even though at the beginning Melania Trump and her stepdaughter got along very well, now, they detest each other.
According to an insider, Melania Trump did not like Ivanka Trump’s meddling into politics and taking away some of the first lady’s duties from her.
The former first daughter is said to be thinking about running for office in the future, but she has recently decided not to challenge Marco Rubio for his Senate seat in Florida.
