Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, who recently announced that they are taking some distance from politics, might be taking a little space from each other.
According to sources who spoke to Page Six, the power couple was recently spotted at a yacht party on the Bay of Biscayne in Miami, Florida. Their behavior left many surprised and a bit concerned.
Donald Trump and Melania Trump are known to be formal in public, but it was always the opposite for Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.
The former counselors of President Donald Trump never shy away from holding hands, embracing, or sharing a loving gaze.
However, during the event, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner did not speak to each other, and there was no public display of affection.
The partygoer claimed that the husband and wife almost seemed like strangers to each other.
The witness told the New York-based publication: “I never saw them interact. They stood in the same group but almost as acquaintances. As they moseyed around the party, they kept their distance [from each other] — never too close; never too far apart.”
The onlooker added: “She had a very confident ‘night out on the town’s look and feel about her.”
Many say that the couple might be stressed out by everything happening in and around their lives.
Ivanka Trump and her spouse recently announced that they will not play any part in Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
The former first daughter was front and center when the real estate mogul ran in 2016 against Hillary Clinton and again in 2020 against Joe Biden.
Ivanka Trump had a high-profile senior advisor job in her father’s administration. She also served as the director of the Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship.
This time around, the former TV personality has revealed that she and Jared Kushner would prefer to focus on their three young children.
Donald Trump’s wife and his other children, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, are expected to play active roles in his third bid for the White House.
Ivanka Trump is also cutting ties with Donald Trump’s businesses because of the ongoing multi-million dollar lawsuits.
The Daily Beast has confirmed that Ivanka Trump has hired her own legal team to defend her in the bitter and costly New York civil case against her, Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and the Trump Organization.
Ivanka Trump’s lawyers told the court and the attorney general that their client had not been associated with the Trump Organization since 2017.
The lawyers explained: “Ms. Trump has had no involvement for more than five years… Ms. Trump has had no role as an officer, director, or employee of the Trump Organization or any of its affiliates since at least January 2017.”
The argument has convinced the court to let Ivanka Trump run her business empire as she sees fit and not have to report on her finances.
Donald Trump and his other children have to report every penny because “the prosecution is concerned that they may quietly try to relocate assets in anticipation of law enforcement action.”
Ivanka Trump is handling things differently.
