In an official statement, Ivanka Trump rattled the political world by announcing that she will not be joining her father, Donald Trump, in his third bid for the White House.
The former first daughter and her husband, Jared Kushner, have decided to no longer advise former President Trump because they feel it is imperative to focus on their three young children.
However, according to Ivanka Trump’s cousin, Mary Trump, the real reason why she no longer wants to be involved in her father’s life is that she does not want to be stained by his reputation, scandals, and ongoing serious lawsuits.
The former president’s niece, Mary Trump, explained that during their years in the White House, Jared Kushner and his wife had amassed a billion-dollar fortune thanks to their business ventures all over the Jewish and Arab world.
As billionaires, the couple does not need Donald Trump — they no longer view him as an asset.
The author said Ivanka Trump’s brutal decision only proves that Donald Trump is “losing value” and it’s not “worth it for them anymore.”
Mary Trump said Sunday on MSNBC: “Donald is definitely losing value in terms of the party and in terms of politics generally, and Ivanka and Jared are legitimately wealthy people apart from whatever Donald’s doing, so they don’t need him to the same degree they might have.”
She added: “And they probably understand on some level that staying so closely allied with him for so long probably damaged them, at least socially. A lot of people again are making the calculation that it just isn’t worth it for them anymore.”
Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, have been living in multi-million dollar mansions since Trump lost his 2020 re-election bid.
The businesswoman said via Fox News that despite her love for her father, she picked her private life this time around.
Ivanka Trump stated: “I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, going forward, I will do so outside the political arena.”
She continued: “This has been one of the greatest times of my life. My kids are thriving, and I want to maintain this cadence — this rhythm — at this point in our family’s life.”
Political observers and some of Trump’s famous and former associates say that he is using the campaign as a facade to attract donations and generate a fortune for himself.
