Halle Bailey Gives A Surprising Update On Her Troubled Romance With Boyfriend DDG

Halle Bailey DDG Famous Dating

For a brief moment, it seemed that Keke Palmer‘s boyfriend would be in good company because of a jaw-dropping move pulled by DDG who is currently dating Little Mermaid actress Halle Bailey.

However, it seems that all is well in paradise between the young lovebirds. While many were expecting the singer and actress to announce that she and her boyfriend had split up, she did the opposite.

Halle Bailey and DDG posed for two loved-up photos in their comfy clothes, holding a cute teddy bear. The MC used the caption to announce that Halle Bailey is his “twin for life.”

Last week, Halle Bailey’s boyfriend and rapper dropped a new song along with the official video that accompanies it. The track entitled “Famous” has people on social media in an uproar because of the lyrics.

The artist, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. had decided to pour his heart out on the tune that focuses on dating a celebrity.

DDG revealed that he is insecure, and it is hard to see his girlfriend having an intimate moment with another man, even when it is for a movie.

He rapped: “Filmin’ a movie now you kissing dudes / You know I love you a lot / I don’t give a f— if that s— for promo / I don’t wanna see this s— no more.”

In the new song, he seems to also address the fact that Halle Bailey and her co-star, Jonah Hauer-King, held hands while posing on the red carpet at The Little Mermaid‘s premiere.

He said: “Why is y’all holdin’ hands in the photo? / You know I’m insecure, that’s a no-no.”

DDG also made it clear that Hailey’s burgeoning acting career is a problem because she is a “famous bi*ch.”

He said: “Fall in love, I hate that s— / Knockin’ me off my grind, I can’t f— with relationships / I ain’t even got enough time in a day for me to chase a b—h / I don’t even ask for much, I ask you to do the basic s— / Hardest thing I did was fall in love with a famous b—h.”

After getting blasted for the track, DDG decided to share a video online to address the situation. He claimed: “I want y’all to know- listen y’all. ‘Famous’ is just a song, okay? It’s just music. Just like how movies is just movies, songs is just songs. Y’all gotta relax and worry about your own stuff, man, it’s all entertainment. It’s the entertainment business, man. Relax, calm down, chill out, you know? But it is what it is, man. I’m used to getting hated on, y’all.”

It seems that Bailey did not take any offense.
