Vera Wang has decided to open up about her age-defying looks in an interesting interview with Page Six.
The fashion designer is 74 years old and often leaves fans baffled with her impressive physique and youthful appearance.
In her sit-down with the New York media outlet, the legendary fashion designer made jaws drop by confessing that she is obsessed with junk food, including Dunkin’ Donuts and McDonald’s.
Vera Wang said that she loves the fast food giant and sometimes orders from them every day.
She claimed: “I do eat McDonald’s, absolutely, I order it every day for like two weeks on it, and then I’ll change.”
The wedding dress designer also confessed that she has a sweet tooth, and turned to Dunkin’ Donuts to satisfy that need.
She shared, “I like the cream-filled, sugar-coated donut. It’s like a jelly donut, but there’s cream inside—vanilla cream. I like the pink with sprinkles, too.”
Vera Wang further elaborated on her impressive physical appearance by explaining that she never sat down and made the decision that she wanted to look fabulous.
The fashionista confessed that she worked hard all her life — 12 years at Vogue, 2 years for Ralph Lauren, and launching her empire at the age of 40 — focused on raising her children, and that contributed to her being healthy.
Vera Wang stated: “Basically, I’ve worked my whole life, so it’s really been about work. I think work keeps you young and stimulated. I work very long hours, and I’ve raised two daughters. I think keeping busy is the best antidote [for] good health.”
Vera Wang, who is also known for her sense of humor, hilariously claimed that vodka cocktails contribute to her lean body and fresh visage.
She also advised getting at least nine hours of sleep, working, and staying out of the sun.
She confessed: “One of the things I am known to like to do is have a vodka cocktail. There’s no question about that, I do. I have a vodka at some point after five or six o’clock, towards seven.”
On a more serious note, she shared her fears about getting older by saying: “I think what sometimes happens as you age… I’m more frightened about physical disabilities than all this. I’m not preoccupied with how I look. Furthermore, I love my work, and I’m very passionate about my work, my friends, my daughters… I mean, I have a very full life.”
Observers say that she has a unique relationship with fast food.
