Just as Mariah Carey has been dubbed the Christmas queen, Martha Stewart has earned herself the title of Thanksgiving goddess.

The businesswoman and lifestyle guru is an expert and trendsetter when it comes to the year-end holiday.

Martha Stewart comes up with the perfect silverware, decor, recipes, and turkey.

She has been doing this for decades and millions depend on her suggestions, ideas, and tips to make holidays memorable and exciting.

However, Martha Stewart sent friends, family, and fans into panic mode when she announced that she was forced to cancel Thanksgiving this year.

She came out with the following expression to rebel against the holiday – she “is turkeyed” out.

In an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Stewart explained that she had cooked too many recipes and baked too many turkeys this year.

She went on to say that she no longer has it in her to prepare another meal for her loved ones, who normally gather at her house for the big feast.

She explained: “I gave up Thanksgiving. Nine guests canceled because somebody got sick, so I called up my chef friend and said, ‘We’re not doing Thanksgiving.'”

She added: “And I’ve also cooked up 14 turkeys already for my TV show.” Stewart revealed that she had to cook a 15th turkey for an appearance on another talk show, and concluded by: “I am turkeyed out.”

Of course, her supporters were alarmed and wondered if the fantastic chef was ready to hang up her apron at the age of 82.

The creator of all things delicious has taken to social media to assure her backers that the media misunderstood her intentions.

She stated: “It’s not true that I gave up Thanksgiving! What I canceled was the planned gathering at my house due to guest cancellations and new travel plans! Instead, I am busy prepping to bake thirty pies — and I promised to bring a stuffed and roasted 20-pound organic, heritage bird to my friend Stephen Sill’s home to supplement the rest of his buffet.”

She went on to reveal: “I am baking lemon tarts, cranberry tarts, chocolate pecan pies, pecan pies, and pumpkin pies for my staff.”

Martha Stewart concluded by talking about the wars ravaging the world.

The television personality shared: “I hope that soon we will see an improvement in our world’s affairs and that there will be some resolution regarding the Ukraine-Russian conflict, and the Israeli-Palestinian war that is harming so many. Our world needs some good news- its people need respite from political, environmental, and social conflicts. Let’s hope and pray for peace!”

Stewart is an iconic personality for many, which is why her words carry a lot.
