The romance between Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce has now affected some of their close friends’ life choices.
It has been confirmed that Kelce’s close friend and teammate, Patrick, wife Brittany Mahomes, and their two children have decided to travel all over the world to show support for Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour in the NFL off-season.
Speaking to The Daily Mail, a source close to the family said: “They have all talked about seeing some of Taylor’s shows overseas after the season, and since KC has a game on Christmas, they will all hang out in the stadium with family and friends afterward.”
The decision was taken after Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes revealed their strong bond and burgeoning friendship to the world.
On multiple occasions, Brittany Mahomes traveled on Taylor Swift’s private plane to watch the Kansas Chiefs play against other teams.
The ladies already have a secret handshake, and they are swapping fashion secrets and clothes. The person in the know went on to confirm that Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes have become the best of friends.
The insider stated: “They are great friends and colleagues; that will not change, and they are all about Brittany and Taylor being friends, but they don’t want to be tied up or tied down with all the personal hoopla they deal with till after the season.”
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes‘s recent interview, where he beamed over Taylor Swift, might explain why the friendship is moving forward at such a great speed.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback talked to PEOPLE Magazine and revealed that it is impossible not to be impressed by Swift’s career accomplishments.
He stated: “She’s top-tier at her profession, and to see how she drives and how she becomes that — Dude, it’s really cool to hear about and to see, and now I have a first-hand look at that through Brittany and Travis’ eyes.”
He went on to confess that when Swift and Kelce first began dating, “everybody stayed away, just let [Kelce] do what he was doing.”
Patrick Mahomes revealed in the interview that he was delighted to finally meet Swift and have her around. Talking about Swift’s personality, he stated: “Then he started bringing Taylor around, and he realized how cool of a person she was, and she is, and so for us, there were a couple of jokes here and there at the beginning.”
Mahomes said out loud what everyone is thinking about Swift and Kelce’s relationship: “She’s just part of the Chief’s Kingdom. And she’s part of the team.”
