It seems Kate Middleton cannot catch a break. Days after she was released from the hospital after having abdominal surgery, her father-in-law, King Charles III, announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

As the mother of three is recuperating with the help of her husband, Prince William, and a team of caring and compassionate nurses, she is hit with a wild rumor that has hurt her.

Several European media outlets shared a bizarre and unverified report claiming that Middleton was in a coma during her 14-day hospital stay.

The headline-making story emerged in Spain via a royal journalist, who painted Middleton’s situation as dire and secretive.

Spanish journalist Concha Calleja appeared on the most-watched channel in Spain for 13 years, Fiesta, to reveal that English doctors had to make a swift decision to save Kate Middleton’s life.

The royal commentator went on to say that the “medical team’s drastic actions” included intubating the 42-year-old Princess of Wales and putting her in an induced coma.

She claimed: “There were serious complications that they didn’t expect because the operation went well, but the post-operative period didn’t go so well. Kate’s recovery was possibly going to require a bit of assistance, and I’m not just referring to her family – practically an entire hospital was being set up to support her at their Windsor home.”

The reporter went on to say that she obtained the information “from an aide in the royal household in a completely confidential manner.”

According to the journalist, Middleton and the Royal Family lied about the date she was taken to the hospital. She stated that Middleton felt unwell in late December. Middleton, who is supposed to be focusing on her health, was forced to have her team issue a statement denying the claim.

Middleton’s camp told The Telegraph: “It’s total nonsense. No attempt was made by that journalist to fact-check anything that she said with anyone in the household. It’s fundamentally totally made up, and I’ll use polite English here: it’s absolutely not the case.”

The royal’s team denied the claims that the journalist spoke to any members of her family or staff. They have also refuted the story that Middleton fell ill on December 28.

They maintain that Princess Catherine was taken to the hospital on January 16 for a scheduled surgery.

Last night, Prince William broke his silence on King Charles and Middleton’s health issues by saying they are grateful for all the well wishes and they are surrounded by the best medical experts.

  1. Why is it that the press have to invent lies to sell a story surely what was wrong with Kate is her business and if she decides to keep it to herself that should be her right how would they feel if someone told lies about them and their health
