For a brief moment, it seemed like Taylor Swift‘s high-profile romance with NFL player Travis Kelce was going south.
Many naysayers and critics were quick to point out the latter’s partying ways and his lack of commitment and sacrifice toward the pop star.
Taylor Swift was willing to rush after her concert in Japan, traveling for multiple hours through time zones to be at the Super Bowl to see Kelce and the Kansas Chiefs win in Las Vegas.
However, it seemed that Kelce was unwilling to put in the same efforts for Swift. He traveled to Australia, stayed two short days, and rapidly flew back to Sin City to do nothing else but party with his teammates.
There was a major uproar as Taylor Swift performed in Asia while possibly sick, as Travis Kelce flew to Philadelphia to meet with his barber.
However, it was later revealed that he was in Philadelphia for a very emotional and personal reason — Travis Kelce was in tears as he sat front row at his brother’s press conference, announcing his retirement from football. He also took part in a charity event.
Proving the skeptics wrong, Travis Kelce and several of his friends have traveled to Singapore to enjoy the last leg of the Asian Eras Tour.
Videos from Swift’s concert showed the athlete dancing and texting while the music played. A source close to the couple revealed to Entertainment Tonight that they are doing their best to make this romance work.
The person in the know added: “Taylor is super busy with her tour, but Travis and her are continuing to make things work. He is enjoying his life in the off-season while trying to be as supportive of Taylor as possible. They make a great match, and both see a real future together. They have talked about the next steps and are on the same page.”
This week, Travis Kelce appeared on his and Jason Kelce‘s podcast, where he shut down the rumors that he and Taylor Swift are breaking up after their wild dates in Australia.
He said: “A lot of false media is being tossed out there. But I’ll tell you what wasn’t false, and it was when I landed in Australia and saw all the cameras.”
Talking about the pictures they took at the zoo together, he revealed: “There were full-on helicopters just flying around. They helicoptered us! Well, not us – Taylor. This is all because Taylor is the biggest and best thing possible. It was fun. That was a fun one, and then we got to enjoy the Taylor Swift show.”
Swift fans are hoping that he will not let the music superstar down.
