A blunt picture is being painted for Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, yet they are living in denial.
The power couple has been through an exodus of high-profile friends due to some of their alarming decisions. The duo left their royal duties and relocated to California, where they gave up all members of the monarchy in exchange of a huge check.
That first decision prompted many celebrities, including David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham, to cut them loose.
Other significant figures, such as Barack and Michelle Obama, Joe and Jill Biden, and Hillary Clinton, have parted ways with the Sussex pair.
The relationship with Oprah Winfrey has also died down since that bombshell interview. Markle’s second decision to launch a company that resembles Gwyneth Paltrow‘s Goop seems to have created some drama.
Hilary Fordwich, a journalist and commentator, weighed in on the situation to say: “Look at Gwyneth Paltrow distancing herself from Meghan and Harry. She is the latest A-lister to come out in support of Kate. Harry and Meghan don’t realize that you need a USP, you need to be unique. Harry has nothing; the only thing that makes him and Meghan unique is their links to the Royal Family.”
The royal commentator shared that Prince Harry and Markle should be concerned about the celebrities still standing by their sides.
Another wrong move could be seen in people like Beyoncé, Elton John, and Kris Jenner turning their backs on Prince Harry and Markle because they cannot afford to hurt their brands by being associated with royal renegades.
She went on to say: “They are pseudo-friends. They only go with people they think are rising stars.”
The royal reporter revealed how Meghan Markle’s American Riviera Orchard was the last straw for Paltrow, who chose to show her support for Kate Middleton: “Meghan is said to have based her new lifestyle project, American Riviera Orchard, on the actress’s own products, and she admires her greatly, so this will hurt.”
She said: “Gwyneth didn’t have to make any comment about Kate being at Trooping the Colour, but the fact she has means she fully supports her and, like the rest of us, wants her to make a speedy recovery. It comes after well-known people like David Beckham, who was once friendly with Harry and Meghan, have very much pinned their colors to the royal mast.”
