In a display of empathy, Jill Biden reached out to Melania Trump after she endured a painful blow.
Mrs. Biden took it upon herself to put politics aside and call Mrs. Trump after her husband and former President Donald Trump suffered a failed assassination attempt during a campaign event in Pennsylvania.
Melania Trump’s representative confirmed that it was a touching and gracious gesture from Dr. Biden.
The university professor had kind and encouraging words for the former model, who was shaken by the horrific event.
However, a different Melania Trump emerged about two months after this warm exchange. As she promotes her book, she does not hold back in her criticism of Biden and Harris.
In an interview with Fox News, Melania Trump acted like a wrecking ball as she obliterated President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris‘s administration.
Melania Trump appeared to have memorized one of Donald Trump’s stump speeches that paints the country’s so-called gloom and doom. She blamed Biden for failing the American people, for the ongoing wars and the devastating drug epidemic.
Melania Trump’s critique of Biden is direct and unapologetic. She does not hesitate to label him a weak leader who has mishandled everything.
The former glamour model stated: “The country is suffering. People are not able to buy the usual necessities for their families. We have wars going on around the world. Soldiers are dying. They were dying under this administration because of weak leadership. The border is open and dangerous. A lot of fentanyl is coming over, killing our youth. It’s very hard to see.”
She went on to say: “[The economy] it’s really not great. Inflation is high, and if we compare these four years under this administration compared to four years under my husband as commander in chief, he was leading the country through peace through strength. And the border was safer than ever before. We didn’t have any wars. People were prospering. They had jobs. They could support their families, so I think the American people need to decide what they really want. Maybe some strong tweets, but everything else is great for this country, so it’s all in the American people’s hands on November 5th.”
Melania Trump seems to have forgotten that her husband was also dealing with international conflicts while he was president.
According to The Washington Post: “At least 65 active duty troops died in hostile action in Trump’s presidency, the records show, as he ramped up commitments in Iraq and Syria to fight the ISIS terrorist group while also launching airstrikes on Syria as punishment for a chemical weapons attack.”
And there was the opioid crisis. According to the Trump administration archives: “America is currently in the midst of an unprecedented drug crisis. In 2017, over 70,000 Americans died from an overdose, an increase of 45% over the previous year. The overdose epidemic has affected Americans of all races, age groups, and socioeconomic statuses, and it has devastated families in urban and rural areas alike. Overdoses now kill more Americans than suicides, motor vehicle accidents, firearms, and homicides, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) points to overdoses as a key contributor to the drop in Americans’ life expectancy.”
Melania Trump seems ready to fight to sell books and promote her husband.
