Like all families, they are sometimes overpowered by strong emotions and take things too far. While Brian Austin Green is unwilling to apologize for his actions, he has decided to scale them down and express regret for some of them.
This week, the Beverly Hills, 90210 actor was interviewed by PEOPLE magazine. He opened up about that one time he obliterated Machine Gun Kelly for his disrespectful and childish behavior toward his pregnant former fiancée, Megan Fox.
At the height of the spectacular breakup and cheating drama, Green shamed the rapper by telling TMZ: “How old is he? He’s in his 30s. In your 30s, like, I don’t know, grow up, you know? She’s pregnant.”
Green, who shares three children, Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8, with Fox, added: “I just want the best for her, the best for the baby, and the best for our kids. It is a shame, and I’m heartbroken to hear about the breakup because she has been so excited about her pregnancy.”
Talking to PEOPLE about his knee-jerk reaction to the predicament that Machine Gun Kelly has put Megan Fox in, Brian Austin Green confessed that his public lash-out was out of character.
The father of four said he should not have made the heated statement. For Fox’s sake, her peace of mind, and the well-being of the baby she is carrying, he will abstain from talking about Machine Gun Kelly in public settings, showing respect for Fox’s privacy.
He said: “That’s not something that I normally do. But it just really, at the time, really got under my skin to read about his take on it. So I spoke my mind, but then I’ve since come to terms with the fact that I won’t do that anymore.”
Brian Austin Green further explained that with Fox’s due date fast approaching, he is committed to not adding anymore stress or chaos to her pregnancy, reassuring the audience of his support.
The 51-year-old celebrity concluded that moving forward, he is “going to shut up and just sit back. I hope that the best outcome that could possibly happen happens. For her, for the baby, and for our kids.”
Green is ready to try something new, and Fox will probably appreciate the efforts.
