Since returning to the White House, Trump has been unable to resist the urge to mock, attack, and blame former President Joe Biden every other week, a clear sign of his obsession and inability to move on.
Standing in front of Biden, the day of the inauguration, Trump delivered a speech that was written with only two goals: to give his supporters red meat and reduce Biden to a failure.
Biden sat in silence as Trump called him the worst president in history. The real estate billionaire also said: “The golden age of America begins right now. From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again worldwide. We will be the envy of every nation, and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer. During every single day of the Trump administration, I will, very simply, put America first. Our sovereignty will be reclaimed. Our safety will be restored. The scales of justice will be rebalanced. The vicious, violent, and unfair weaponization of the Justice Department and our government will end. And our top priority will be to create a nation that is proud, prosperous, and free. America will soon be greater, stronger, and more exceptional than ever. I return to the presidency confident and optimistic that we are at the start of a thrilling new era of national success. A tide of change is sweeping the country, sunlight is pouring over the entire world, and America has the chance to seize this opportunity like never before.”
Appearing in an interview on FOX News, Trump took another jab at the former Democratic president by saying he should have pardoned himself, along with his family, because he might persecute him if he felt like it.
Recently, Trump dealt another blow by revoking Biden’s security clearance, meaning he can no longer access classified information.
In a heavily worded and petty statement, Trump called Biden senile and old. To all this, Biden responds with three powerful words: “Do not engage.”
The former senator from Delaware is focused on the future, having long moved on to bigger, better, and more lucrative things, a sign of his resilience and confidence.
Biden announced he had signed a million-dollar contract with the highly respected talent agency CAA, representing Barack Obama, his wife, Michelle Obama, and former Vice President Kamala Harris.
The powerhouse agency said in a brief statement: “President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again.”
Biden is not dwelling on Trump’s attacks. Instead, he is focused on his future, which looks promising. He is on his way to making large sums with speaking engagements, book deals, and possibly a documentary about his life and presidency.
