David Beckham and his wife, fashion designer Victoria Beckham, recently attempted to regain control of the narrative surrounding their ongoing family drama by leaking a fascinating story.
However, their estranged son, Brooklyn Beckham, and daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz, were quick to leak information of their own, portraying them as individuals who promote alternative truths.
After years of hustling, schmoozing, and networking with the Royal Family, the unthinkable finally occurred when King Charles III decided to give David Beckham the knighthood that he so desired.
Victoria Beckham and her youngest children have been supportive of David Beckham on his big honor. Taking to social media, Victoria penned a lovely message that read: “You’ve always been my knight in shining armor, but now it’s official. Sir @davidbeckham!!! Your dedication to the things that matter most — your country, your work, your passion, and most of all, your family — has never wavered. The way you’ve touched so many lives over the years with kindness and humility speaks volumes about the man you are and continues to inspire us every day. But above all else, I’m so, so proud to call you mine. I love you so much.”
Romeo also revealed via social media that he is beyond proud of his father’s accomplishments, writing: “So so proud of you 🤍🤍🤍🤍.”
However, there were two noticeable absences from the list of supporters: Brooklyn Beckham and his billionaire heiress wife, Nicola Peltz, skipped the celebration.
It was claimed that the ongoing tension between the young couple and the Beckham family was the reason they did not congratulate the soccer legend on his big moment.
It was also speculated that the family could not tell Brooklyn about the special honor because he made clear that he no longer wanted to speak to them.
According to a source close to the family, Brooklyn initiated the “no contact” order and added to Page Six: “Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact, and he’s not responding to those that try to connect.”
However, the reason for this “no contact” order remains a point of contention, with some claiming it was Brooklyn’s decision, while others argue it was a mutual agreement.
An insider close to Brooklyn has bluntly denied the story, saying that he never told his family that he wanted no contact with them.
The source stated: “Everyone’s focus should be David Beckham’s great honor.” The insider highlited the importance of celebrating David‘s achievements despite the family’s internal conflicts.
A friend of the chef and photographer told Page Six that the young couple was surprised and hurt to discover the knighthood through the media. The person in the know explained that Brooklyn’s family made the heartbreaking and vengeful decision to cut ties with him and, therefore, never announced David Beckham’s recognition to him.
The pal stated: “They only found out through the media about David’s much-desired knighthood. Brooklyn is so happy for his dad as he knows it was something important to him, but there was no communication, and no one from the family reached out.”
This family drama seems endless.
