Ivanka Trump Clarifies Rumors, Giving Melania Trump More To Talk About
Ivanka Trump has recently been the subject of a series of negative press reports, with some allegedly coming from sources close to her own stepmother, Melania Trump. It appears the former stepdaughter has chosen not to dispel the rumors, instead giving the media and her critics more to talk about.
The Alleged Feud
Over the past few weeks, reports have swirled from the Daily Mail, with sources close to both Melania and Ivanka explaining that since leaving the White House, Ivanka’s life has been defined by lounging on the beach, traveling, and maintaining her appearance — essentially living as what Melania allegedly described as a “spoiled and privileged princess who is desperate for attention.”
A close family friend of the Trumps piled in to say that Ivanka and her spouse, Jared Kushner, have become more vain than ever. “Now they’re no longer big players in Washington; they have all the time in the world to cultivate their good looks. They’ve always been especially vain,” a Trump family friend told the Daily Mail.
An Unapologetic and Liberated Lifestyle
This week, the former businesswoman and presidential counselor was photographed doing what she apparently does best. Photos splashed across the front page of the Daily Mail showed Ivanka and Gisele Bündchen twinning in stylish black bikinis. Both opted for sleek ponytails, dark shades, and wraps as they lounged on a multi-million dollar yacht. They appeared to have very chatty conversations and were seen glancing at their phones from time to time.
Ivanka Trump’s husband, Jared Kushner, was notably absent from the trip, most likely at another business meeting or planning a new venture. However, Gisele Bündchen’s boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, was seen on the yacht with the ladies.
It appears that in this regard, Ivanka Trump is very much like her father. Instead of trying to diffuse a controversy, she seems to turn up the heat, giving her critics even more to talk about.
The “Zero F*cks Given” Era
But then again, in a recent interview, Ivanka Trump made it clear that she is in her “zero f*cks given” era. She is just focused on what, who, and where makes her happy, and Washington D.C. and politics have been erased from her memory. Appearing on a podcast, Donald Trump‘s daughter made this bold statement “I love policy and impact. I hate politics… I’m much happier. I really think about living life in alignment with my core values and priorities. And I guess I’m at an age and a point in my life where I have the wisdom to realize that that’s the way to be happy, as opposed to living for anyone else.”
Indeed, when not vacationing in Miami and Costa Rica with her new best friend Gisele Bündchen and her model sister-in-law Karlie Kloss, Ivanka Trump is zigzagging around the globe unfazed by the criticism. She has immersed herself in the architecture and splendors of Albania, enjoyed the beaches in The Bahamas, been surrounded by nature in Alaska, and gone skiing in Aspen.
According to a friend who spoke to the Daily Mail, Ivanka Trump is able to live a highly privileged life because “her dad is rich, her husband is rich, and her father-in-law is rich.”
