Kim Kardashian And Kanye West’s Oldest Daughter, North, Shakes Off The Outrage Over Her Head-Turning Outfits

Kim Kardashian North West Fashion

Kim Kardashian recently warned the public about her 12-year-old daughter North West’s fashion choices — and North just lived up to the hype with her latest bold, head-turning look.

North West’s Outrageous Look

Taking to social media, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s oldest child decided to share a series of videos with some friends.

North West, rocking vibrant blue hair, fake blue contact lenses, and multiple fake face tattoos, smiled and revealed a jaw-dropping grill covering all her front teeth. Her hands were also covered with tattoos.

North West wore baggy clothes and lots of silver jewelry. Her friends chose yellow and pink eye colors with wild fake ink on their faces. She captioned: “Fake piercings and fake tatts for life.”

Viral Criticism and Parental Defense

The post rapidly went viral, with many commentators asking where North’s parents were and whether there was an authority figure in the family to say “no” to the Kardashian-West children.

Others defended the flamboyant look, saying the young rapper and influencer is just a child exploring and experimenting with fashion, makeup, and filters as she finds her identity.

Taking to social media, Kim Kardashian defended her preteen daughter, saying it was a non-issue. Many parents backed her, saying that North is just playing dress-up with her friends, and these are normal things that kids do.

Learning To Be A Tough Parent

Kardashian recently appeared on a podcast where she confessed that while she knows she sometimes lets her children go too far, she is doing her best to balance being a tough parent while letting her daughter explore her creativity.

On the Call Me Daddy podcast this week, Kardashian confessed that she is forever learning as a parent, so people should have some mercy on her when she lets her child experiment with her style to look like her friends.

She said: “It’s really hard and it’s really interesting because all the kids are wearing the same things. But then my daughter tries to wear it, and then I’m like, ‘OK, we’re never wearing that again.’ Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”
Prioritizing Creativity Over Critics

The mogul added: “She’s usually a girl that dresses like a tomboy most of the time and she wanted to try something that her friends were wearing and went to the same place that they went to… and it’s just like, okay, wait, maybe you can’t wear that, you know. So, as a mom, you’re kind of learning at the same time. But what I do know is my baby’s such a good girl and such a sweet girl. The things that she has experienced, where she might have been outspoken or did something, she learns from that. She does listen to me, but in other areas, I’m like ‘babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is.’ It makes her so happy. I would never take that creativity away from her.”

Kardashian claimed that North is unbothered by the online criticism; she simply does not care about what people think. The Skims founder reflected: “She’s really mature in one sense, where she’ll be like, ‘Mom, I saw this and I don’t really care if someone says they don’t like my blue hair or my this or that.'”

It seems that North is capable of handling the backlash.
