Palace insiders reveal how Kate Middleton’s calm authority is shaping decisions once left to King Charles.
King Charles III and the heir to the throne have been taking a strong stance on the sentencing and relocation of Prince Andrew and his equally disgraced ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.
There were multiple meetings before Andrew announced that he was finally relinquishing his royal titles, and many fiery meetings are still taking place to persuade Andrew to vacate the Royal Lodge.
The King and Prince William have their own way of negotiating and pressuring Prince Andrew, but Kate Middleton has been a force of nature behind the scenes.
Princess Kate will not take no for an answer. She has made it clear she does not want her children in the vicinity of the “royal creepy uncle.”
The Lioness’s Stance Against The Royal Creepy Uncle
Kate Middleton is grateful to be cancer-free and is planning a new chapter, relocating to a new home, Forest Lodge, with her husband and their children — Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte.
The thought of living next door to Andrew, a man who happily palled around with a paedophile and engaged in disgusting and illegal sexual activities, is stomach-churning for Princess Kate.
According to Liz Jones of the Daily Mail: “But let’s not forget Kate, another instrumental player in the lodge-off. She isn’t a blood relative of her husband’s creepy uncle. Her life’s work is to protect children. And apparently, she ‘shudders at the thought of living so close to Royal Lodge’. She doesn’t see this as just a scandal that threatens the Monarchy and therefore her offspring’s secure future, but as one that has already ruined the lives of scores of young women. She no longer wants to rub padded shoulders with a man who spent time with an already convicted paedophile or his ex-wife, a woman who sent that paedophile toe-curlingly cringy emails, calling him her ‘supreme friend’. The former Duchess of York is now reported to be ‘on the edge… with nowhere to go or anyone else to go with.’”
What Kate Wants, Kate Gets
She has brought some savage, feminine energy to the room during these volcanic sit-downs with a defiant Andrew, who still believes he has leverage over King Charles.
Charles has been slow to grasp the Andrew question. William has been, too. But like any mother of three children, Kate just wants it done. Today. To roll up her sleeves and clean the house, in more ways than one. As the only jewel left shining brightly in the Crown, what Kate wants, Kate gets.
Andrew Has No Power Over Princess Kate
It is not the same with Princess Kate. Andrew can threaten to write a salacious book about Prince William and King Charles, but he has no power over Kate.
On the contrary, Kate Middleton, as a mother and future Queen who has represented the monarchy with class and dignity for two decades, and as a fighter and cancer survivor, has history and the British people on her side. If she says, “disgusting Andrew must go”, he shall be exiled.
The Unflinching Power Of A Survivor
Kate Middleton may be soft-spoken or quiet at times, but there is no doubt that she is fearless and determined when it comes to protecting her health, her family, and the Monarchy. The last people to cross her were Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and she made sure they paid the price.
According to Jones: “There is no doubt Kate will have strong views on this unfolding royal fiasco. She knows her power. Look at how swiftly, unflinchingly she saw off Meghan. Remember that icy stare when the formerly Fab Four did a walkabout before Queen Elizabeth’s funeral? She is like a lioness, protecting her territory. And anyone who can come through cancer is not to be messed with. Cancer survivors are unflinching, formidable, and determined.”
Princess Kate is making a real comeback.
