Donald Trump Ignites ‘Stolen Election’ Firestorm as Rudy Giuliani Faces His Darkest Hour

Donald Trump Rudy Giuliani Stolen Election

Rudy Giuliani, the 81-year-old former Mayor of New York City, is currently fighting for his life in a Florida hospital.

According to Ted Goodman, his representative, the former presidential candidate and Donald Trump‘s fiery personal legal counsel, is in critical condition.

Goodman announced in a brief social media statement: “Mayor Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.”

He also stated: “Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he’s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak. We do ask that you join us in prayer for America’s Mayor Rudy Giuliani.”

While the exact cause of his hospitalization remains unclear, reports indicate that during his Friday night online show, America’s Mayor Live, hosted from Palm Beach, Giuliani appeared “under the weather.”

He coughed throughout the broadcast and told his audience his throat was hurting, stating, “My voice is a little under the weather, so I won’t be able to speak as loudly as I usually do.”

Trump’s Blistering Statement

In a fiery reaction to the news, Donald Trump took to social media to praise his former attorney while simultaneously rehashing the controversies that have defined Giuliani’s recent years.

Trump doubled down on his claims that the 2020 election was “stolen,” a narrative that famously saw the man once celebrated as “America’s Mayor “publicly and embarrassingly dragged into a $148 million defamation suit by two Georgia state election workers, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, whom Giuliani had falsely accused of fraud.

Regarding his longtime ally, Trump claimed: “Our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a True Warrior, and the Best Mayor in the History of New York City, BY FAR, has been hospitalized and is in critical condition. What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the Radical Left Lunatics, Democrats All—and he was right about everything! They cheated in the Elections, fabricated hundreds of stories, did everything possible to destroy our Nation, and now, look at Rudy. So sad!”

A Firestorm Of Public Reaction

The President’s statement has sparked a firestorm online, with many critics calling out Giuliani for his role in subverting the 2020 election.

The internet is deeply divided, with many citing his past comments about “trial by combat” and his pursuit of the “Big Lie,” and a few asking for a shred of sympathy for his family and his heroic actions as mayor.

“He spent his final healthy years trying to tear down the democracy he once protected,” one viral post stated.

“It’s hard to feel sympathy for a man who spent years bullying innocent election workers like Ruby Freeman,” another user claimed.

“Whether you like his politics or not, he is a human being and a 9/11 icon. This is a sad day for New York,” a supporter stated in a counter-argument.

The 2025 New Hampshire Car Crash

Rudy Giuliani’s health crisis follows a traumatic New Hampshire car incident. In the summer of 2025, Giuliani was seriously injured while being a good Samaritan, according to his head of security, Michael Ragusa, who shared in a statement at the time that Giuliani had stopped his vehicle to assist a woman who appeared to be a victim of domestic violence.

“He remained on scene until responding officers arrived to ensure her safety. Following this, while traveling on the highway, Mayor Giuliani’s vehicle was struck from behind at high speed,” the statement continued.

Ragusa revealed that Giuliani was transported to a trauma center with a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations, and injuries to his arm and leg.

At the time, Ragusa claimed, “The mayor is in great spirits. He’s a beast. He survived 9/11.”

However, it remains to be seen if the lingering effects of those injuries contributed to his current critical state.
