After getting fired, Doug, who goes by the clever name of Paul Flart, has become an overnight celebrity thanks to his hilarious videos where he is farting while at work.
The Florida security guard, who might be a fan of the movie, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, has given himself the title of The Fart Authority on Instagram because he has dozens of clips where he is wearing his uniform, and he is giving his followers perfectly-orchestrated farts.
He was able to pass gas at the hospital where he worked and amassed a huge following on Instagram for the past six months, but he got caught by his boss and was fired.
The video of Mr. Flart getting lectured by his boss is his most successful one to date.
In the clip, Doug meets with his angry supervisor who asks him to stop filming and adds: “Look, we need to talk. There’s a bunch of p** off people here.”
Doug says he sees no reason to turn off the camera because he is getting axed anyway.
The furious supervisor goes on to explain the reason why Doug is being sacked by saying: “You do realize that you are on a client’s property wearing our uniform. Again it’s come to our attention that you recorded yourself in our uniform on the client’s property.”
Doug tries to defend himself with this line: “I never showed any logos or anything though.”
The 31-year-old self-described American hero spoke to Vice and explained why he decided to become an expert in the art of farting: “It transcends all languages. There’s no translation necessary; it’s just funny.”
The famous flatulencer said he is making people happy all over the world and his ultimate goal is to make a good living “off farting after getting fired” from his post.
So far things are looking amazing for the farting man because his videos have been viewed 374,000 times on Reddit.
