Well, that was fast. Donald Trump and Kanye West have decided to respond to Elon Musk‘s controversial decision to lift the permanent ban on their Twitter accounts.
Since purchasing Twitter for $44 billion, the inventor has been mulling the idea of reinstating multiple accounts that were canceled.
Trump, who had a real passion for tweeting his every thought before and during his presidency, was booted from the platform in early January 2021 for violating the rules of the company and for spreading misinformation.
While it was not said directly, it is believed that Trump sparked fears that he would incite more violence after the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol building.

Musk, who is more than eager to have the former president back on the social media platform, set a poll that rapidly went viral with over 15 million votes.
The multi-billionaire asked: “Reinstate former President Trump.”
By popular demand (51% said yes while 48% voted no), Trump’s account was reinstated, and he is now allowed back on Twitter.
Musk later claimed: “134M people have seen this poll.”
Millions waited for Donald Trump to rapidly jump on his official account and share his unfiltered wisdom with the world.
That did not happen. Instead, the former president took to his own social media platform Truth Social where he addressed the lift of the ban.
Trump shamed Musk by making it clear that he has no interest in returning to Twitter and providing Musk with free and viral content that makes him an even richer man.
The Republican shocked many by writing: “Vote now with positivity, but don’t worry, we aren’t going anywhere. Truth Social is special!”
To further shame Musk, Trump spent several hours on his own platform posting about various topics that matter to him.
Trump lashed out at the New York and FBI officials for the ongoing investigation and trials against him. He also spoke at length about the 2022 midterm elections.
In a recent interview with Fox News, Trump explained why he would be back on the website by saying: “I am not going on Twitter, and I am going to stay on TRUTH. I hope Elon buys Twitter because he’ll make improvements to it, and he is a good man, but I am going to be staying on TRUTH.”
As for Kanye West, who is a close pal of Elon Musk, he is back with plans to rattle the world with his provocative thoughts.
