Donald Trump has announced that he is running for president against Joe Biden in 2024. Kanye West has made the same announcement.
West is so serious about his bid for the White House that he has picked far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos as part of his campaign.
West and Trump were once very close — the pair met several times at the Trump tower in New York and at the White House, where the rapper donned the famous MAGA hat.
Kanye West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, even worked with the Trump administration to make justice reform a reality to pardon many inmates who had mild offenses.
West traveled to Florida for a high-profile meeting with the former president at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
The Yeezy founder was spotted arriving at a Florida airport with Nick Fuentes, who is described as a far-right, White nationalist, and White supremacist political commentator.
The controversial rapper had plans to kiss the ring and have Trump’s backing for his surprising political decision.
Things got off to an awful start, with West revealing that because of heavy rain and bad traffic, he arrived late and had the former president waiting for him.
The father of four revealed: “First time at Mar-a-Lago. Rain and traffic. Can’t believe I kept President Trump waiting. And I had on jeans.”
The former billionaire fashion designer claimed that things went from bad to worse when he asked the real estate mogul for his endorsement.
In a video that the controversial artist posted on his freshly-unsuspended Twitter account, he explained that Donald Trump was perturbed when he had the audacity to ask the former commander-in-chief to be his vice president.
West told his millions of followers: “I think the thing Trump was most perturbed about [was] me asking him to be my vice president. I think that was lower on the list of things that caught him off guard.”
Trump went from being surprised to angry after hearing West’s proposal. Kanye West claimed that a fuming Trump at him during the dinner/meeting.
Trump more or less coined West a loser — something he often does to destabilize his adversaries.

He stated: “When Trump started basically screaming at me at the table telling me I was going to lose, I mean, has that ever worked for anyone in history?”
NEW: Statement from fmr President Trump in response to our story about his dinner w Ye and Fuentes: "Kanye West very much wanted to visit Mar-a-Lago. Our dinner meeting was intended to be Kanye and me only, but he arrived with a guest whom I had never met and knew nothing about." https://t.co/RLfWtJTfzQ

The rapper told his backers that he fought back against Trump’s loser tag.
He shared: “I’m like whoa hold on, hold on, hold on. You’re talking to Ye.”
Trump has not publicly thrown West under the bus after his controversial remarks against Black people and Jews and his White Lives Matter T-shirts, but privately he told close allies that West needs help.
West’s anti-Semitism has caused him to lose several multi-million dollar business deals.
