Former President Donald Trump suffered yet another significant loss in court and inadvertently handed his archnemesis, Hillary Clinton, a victory.

Since leaving the White House, the billionaire real estate mogul has found himself ducking it out with the legal system for a long list of reasons, including his belief that the 2020 presidential election was rigged, tax fraud over the claims that he paid $130,000 hush money payment to adult star Stormy Daniels for an alleged affair that took place while Melania Trump was pregnant.

Trump and his army of attorneys are challenging the New York attorney general’s investigation into the Trump Organization.

His lawyers also attacked Clinton and several other top politicians, the entire Democratic party, and former FBI officials, including former FBI Director James Comey, in a lawsuit that was filed in Florida.

According to the court documents, the former reality TV star turned politician attacked Clinton, the DNC, and others because he believed that they conspired to destroy his presidential campaign by claiming that he had ties to Russia and President Vladimir Putin.

Trump said he was unfairly accused of using these ties to meddle in the election and win the presidency. In late 2022, U.S. District Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks dismissed the court case.

And recently, he decided to take the drastic decision to sanction Trump and one of the attorneys in the case.

The judge has ordered Trump and his legal representative to pay almost $1 million for filing “a bogus lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and others.”

Judge Middlebrook threw the book at Trump, according to the filing. Via AP, Middlebrooks accused Trump of a “pattern of abuse of the courts for filing frivolous lawsuits for political purposes, which he said undermines the rule of law and amounts to obstruction of justice.”

Judge Middlebrook said then the suit contained “glaring structural deficiencies and that many of the characterizations of events are implausible.”

He continued, “Here, we are confronted with a lawsuit that should never have been filed, which was completely frivolous, both factually and legally, and which was brought in bad faith for an improper purpose.”

According to the same reporting, “citing Trump’s recent legal action against the Pulitzer Prize board, New York’s attorney general, big tech companies, and CNN, he described Trump as “a prolific and sophisticated litigant” who uses the courts “to seek revenge on political adversaries.”

The former president is seeking the Republican nomination for 2024 in the race to the White House, and he is ahead at the moment.
