To achieve her wild goal, the former television news anchor has decided to cling to Donald Trump. According to PEOPLE Magazine, Kari Lake has almost moved to Mar-a-Lago to get closer to Trump in the hopes of becoming his running mate.
An insider told the publication: “Kari Lake is there all the time. There’s a suite there that she practically lives in.”
The source went on to say that Lake is eyeing a deal with Trump, so she can erase the disastrous way she handled the gubernatorial race.
The tipster shared: “She is working the deal. She wants something bigger, fast, to compensate for her loss in Arizona.”
An advisor for Lake issued the following statement on the report: “Kari Lake often speaks at events all over the country in support of America First candidates and organizations; and when she does have the honor of being invited to speak at the beautiful Mar-a-Lago, she overnights at Hilton properties in Palm Beach with her loving husband of 25 years.”
The statement did little to change the topic because it was not that long ago that Lake promised to protect Trump with her life.
The former news anchor had this to say after news broke that Trump was facing criminal charges from the Justice Department for moving classified documents from the White House to his Florida resort:
“If they think they’re going to hurt … Trump, they’re gonna have to come through me and … 300 million others … Most of us are NRA members. That is not a threat; that is a public service announcement.”

During a speech, Lake raised eyebrows by claiming Donald Trump has BDE.
The politician claimed: “The guy has bigger … Wait, let me think about how I want to word this. My staff always says, ‘Whatever you do, do not say balls.’ So I’m not going to say it. That guy has a backbone made of steel. I’ll tell you what he’s got. I don’t know if you’d heard of this. He’s got ‘BDE.’ Anybody know what that means? Ask your kids about it later.”
Some Trump critics on the right have started spreading salacious rumors about him and Lake.
