Elaine Chao Gets Blamed As Husband Mitch McConnell Freezes Again

Mitch McConnell Freezes Again Elaine Chao

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell‘s latest health or freeze incident has created quite a commotion in the political world.

It has also pushed many concerned American voters to ask about the whereabouts of his wife, former Sec. of Transportation Elaine Chao.

Many people took to social media, including Twitter and Instagram to plead with Chao to get her husband to retire and go to a hospital to get the proper medical help he needs.

Some are pushing the theory that Elaine Chao has big political ambitions, which is why she refuses to intervene in her spouse’s devastating situation.

There are rumors that Chao will replace her husband when he steps down from his position. On Wednesday, the Republican leader had a press conference with reporters. The event took place in Covington, Kentucky.

At one point, a journalist asked the senator about his plans to run for reelection in 2026. Mitch McConnell froze for more than 30 seconds — he was unable to speak or move.

It looked like a repeat of the unfortunate event that took place in July during a news conference on Capitol Hill, where the veteran politician appeared to freeze for about 20 seconds.

Mitch McConnell was escorted out of the room with the help of his colleagues. He returned a short moment later and told reporters all was well.

This time around, McConnell, 81, remained silent as the reporter asked, “Did you hear the question, senator?”

When McConnell continued to be unresponsive, a staff member approached him to ask if he had heard the question. Mitch McConnell eventually answered one question about Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron with the help of his aide.

Mitch McConnell was asked a question about former President Donald Trump; he declined to answer and exited the room.

After the incident, a spokesperson said: “Leader McConnell felt momentarily lightheaded and paused during his press conference today.”

The aide added that he will see a doctor next week. After the health scare, Mitch McConnell called several senators who are hoping to take over his job.

They have all issued statements to reassure the media and the American people. Senate Minority Whip John Thune said he talked to McConnell and added: “The leader sounded like his usual self and was in good spirits.”

According to National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Steve Daines: “I was glad to hear the leader sounds like himself and is feeling fine.”

President Joe Biden was asked about Mitch McConnell’s medical problems, and he said: “Mitch is a friend, as you know — not a joke. … I know people don’t believe that the case, but we have disagreements politically, but he’s a good friend, I will try to get in touch with him later this afternoon.”

McConnell and Chao are still trending topics on social media.
