Indeed during a sit-down on The Hugh Hewitt Show, the billionaire real estate developer said that he found that Markle and Prince Harry was disrespectful in the way they behaved towards the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Donald Trump went on to reveal that he would love to have his tit-for-tat on the former actress. Trump stated: “I didn’t like the way she dealt with the Queen, I became very friendly with the Queen. She was an incredible woman at 95. She was so sharp. She was 100 percent. They treated her with great disrespect and I didn’t like it.”
Aware of the ratings, a television debate against Meghan Markle would give, Donald Trump jumped on the opportunity to say: “I’d love to debate with her. I would love it.”
Donald Trump has a fascination with the Royal Family. He loved the late Queen and showed disdain for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The former president’s interview with Hugh Hewitt was picked apart by Chris Christie. Christie told CNN journalist Dana Bash: “He says so many ridiculous things. I think there is absolutely no interest in either Donald Trump or Meghan Markle debating about anything.”
He added: “If people really want to have the real issues that are concerning their lives, like inflation, our role around the world, a troubled education system, crime and law and order in our cities, debated — we need to have serious candidates on that stage.”
Observers say Markle is unlikely to get into politics after flirting with the idea for years.
